IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

Tree lightings have started all around the Capital Region.  Troy had to post pone their lighting due to poor weather last week.  Albany, Schenectady and some of our smaller communities have had their lightings already.  But the State Capital tree lighting went of with out a hitch.

The State has two trees, one at the base of the front stairway on the East Lawn and the other on the Empire State Plaza.

This is a view of the Capital Tree looking up State Street hill.

The tree lighting on the Empire State Plaza is an all day event and ends with fireworks.

This year the tree on the Empire State Plaza came from Woodlawn Avenue in Schenectady.  Here is a look at it's journey.  A state crew from the Office of General Services moved the tree.

It is quite a site to see.
