Friday night we headed to EMPAC in Troy  ` to see The Albany Symphony's Dogs of Desire.

The Dogs of Desire
The power of a rock band, the sophistication of a classical chamber orchestra: Dogs of Desire performs new works by America's best young composers, exploring all that is wild and wonderful in American pop culture, with dazzling multimedia works and freewheeling, fabulous creations and collaborations.
Listen to Music Director/Conductor David Alan Miller explain The Dogs.  David has been the conductor of the Grammy Award Winning Albany Symphony for 25 years.
Last night The Dogs of Desire preformed several pieces by Sleeping Giant Composers,
the Yale School of Music Composers and a new piece composed by Clarice Assad for GE Renewable Energy.
